After reading the article on Nursing Theory (attachment listed) the students will use their Library (or Google Scholar) search skills to locate a nursing article that utilizes or discusses a nursing theory that aligns with the student’s interest. Students will read, reflect on, and discuss that article. Students will discuss how the author implemented and/or applied a nursing theory in a research study, OR discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the chosen theory. This will be a 1-page summary. Students must identify the theorist and theory used in the article.
